About Dr. Stillman
Angela Stillman, PhD, is a passionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) at Dr. Messina & Associates in Flower Mound and Southlake, Texas. Dr. Stillman has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, with a wide variety clinical and relational issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, fears and phobias, and relationship and family conflict.
Dr. Stillman understands the uniqueness of every person, and tailors each session to her client’s needs and goals, utilizing a flexible, client-centered approach and incorporating a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and clinical hypnotherapy.
Dr. Stillman received a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Texas Wesleyan University, where she has also taught courses in the Graduate School of Counseling. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at Texas A&M University.
Dr. Stillman is dedicated to promoting the well-being of her clients and providing personalized treatment in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Her goal is to provide the highest quality of psychotherapy services to her clients, and she is committed to working closely with each individual to help them find meaningful solutions to their challenges.
Dr. Stillman is married and has three sons. They enjoy family time on the weekends and riding around the city on their golf cart. In her spare time, Dr. Stillman runs a nonprofit organization called C-Squad Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families of children fighting cancer.
