Thankful Thursdays

Table of Contents

Every Thursday in November, we will be posting a Thankful Thursday journal prompt. We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on each prompt, either by writing in your journal, discussing with a friend or family member, or even just taking some time to meditate on the topic. Our goal is to encourage an attitude of gratitude, positive thinking, and cognitive reframing.

If you follow us on Facebook or Instagram, we’d love for you to comment on the post with whatever you are comfortable with sharing.

Together, we will have a wonderful month of reflection and thankfulness.

Keeping a journal is an intentional approach to understanding your feelings. Just as you might have taken written notes during class in school to help you learn something, writing our your feelings in a journal can help you know yourself better. It is a way of keep order in your mind and can be extremely therapeutic.

Think of journaling as a quiet-time, relaxation time, and a time to unwind. Write in a place that is soothing to you, where you feel safe to open up.
